I brought my Fender jazz24 to be repaired by Chucks last year. Living in DC, and not wanting to take my instrument to a generic gutar center( worried i wouldn\'t recive the personal client treatment) I decided on Chuck Levin\'s. After bringing in my bass, and waiting 6,..6 Months(for a \"Fender\" part that could only be aquired specially, supposedly) I was called back from Chucks to be told that my bass could be wired as passive(active electronics prob)! Not only did I not want to degrade the capabilities of my instrument, but after 6 months and no apology, they wanted the easy way out! I received my bass the following week, and 2 months later it is malfunctioning again. I DO NOT recommend this place if you want to play your instrument in the near future...
