About STGuitarworks

STGuitarworks is an independently run guitar repair shop based in Ottawa, Ontario. Owned and operated by luthier Sean Thompson. Sean spent two years with the Godin Guitar Company, from November 2004 to October 2006, at their head office in Baie D'Urfé, Montreal West Island, as the head of their repair department. There Sean did all warranty and non-warranty repairs. Sean was trained in two of the Godin Guitar Companys' factories in La Patrie, QC and Princeville, QC.

Sean was instructed on some of the finer points of guitar construction and repair by Robert Godin himself, who is known for producing a wide range of instruments that combine superior tonality with the most innovative technology.
